Fistula Hospital Fund

End Fistula in Uganda

Obstetric Fistula is one of the most serious and tragic childbirth injuries. Help build a women's hospital in rural Uganda specializing in treating Fistula. One Brick at a Time!

Obstetric Fistula is one of the most serious and tragic childbirth injuries. It is a hole between the birth canal and bladder or rectum caused by
prolonged, obstructed labor, without access to timely, high-quality medical treatment or a c-section. It leaves women leaking urine, feces or both, and often leads to chronic medical problems, depression, social isolation and deepening poverty.

UNAA is partnering with The Uganda Fistula Fund to raise money for the construction of a women’s hospital in rural Uganda, scheduled to start in 2018. This hospital will transform health care in the region, providing improved maternal and health services for women and children, especially women suffering from Obstetric Fistula.

Support the struggle to end Fistula in Uganda.
