On February 2nd 2019 at 3.00am at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Massachusetts, Annette Nakalema Kiyimba Kironde, resident of Berillica, Massachusetts, breathed her last – losing a second battle to Breast Cancer. The 56 year old long term UNAA member was a mother, a pillar, a friend and a leader to many in our diaspora community.
Annette is survived by her children Gulemye Kironde, Ssenteza Kironde, Mpagi Kironde, Jo Zizinga and her siblings Joan Betty Nakimbugwe, Catherine Nassolo,and Cissy Nakiyimba.
As our community continues to mourn the passing of our dear friend Annette, here are the ways that you can support her family in this trying time.

Her body will be flown out on Sunday, February 10th, 2019 and then on to her final resting place of Kimaanya, Masaka in Uganda.
